Capstones & Theses

Dr. Sara Kuebbing can also serve as a mentor on thesis, capstone, or semester long projects. See a list of our potential thesis or capstone topic areas here: ecosystem management, forest ecology, plant ecology, carbon market policy, invasive species, restoration, conservation, natural-climate solutions. 

To broaden our bandwidth in time and topics, YASSP Research Staff, Cameron McKenzie, Dr. Alexander Polussa, and Dr. Michelle Kirchner can co-mentor with Dr. Sara Kuebbing and Dr. Mark Bradford.

Dr. Michelle Kirchner’s specialty topics include: biodiversity, insect ecology, community ecology, canopy ecology, integrated pest and pollinator management, ecology. 

Dr. Alexander Polussa specializes in soil carbon, soil health, regenerative agriculture. 

Cameron McKenzie has expertise in forest ecology and restoration ecology.
